Matcha Ceremonial
Ceremonial grade matcha is stone-ground from shade-grown tencha leaves — the highest tier of matcha production. Unlike culinary-grade matcha, ceremonial grade is harvested from the first spring flush, producing a naturally sweet, deeply umami flavour with no bitterness.
The vivid jade-green colour is natural and intensely visual, making every matcha drink an effortlessly photogenic product that markets itself.
Iced Matcha Latte: Sift 3–5g into a bowl. Add 30ml hot water (70–80°C — not boiling). Whisk vigorously until fully dissolved and slightly frothy. Pour over ice and add 200ml oat, almond, or whole milk.
Matcha Boba: Add tapioca pearls or matcha popping boba for texture. Sweetened condensed milk adds richness for LATAM markets.
For consistent results across high-volume service, pre-mix a concentrated matcha paste (1 part matcha : 3 parts water) and store refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
